Mucked around home till about 1:30. Linda rang up about a fruit-picking job in Young, NSW*. Went into town and had lunch. I got a haircut. Went to the movies – 3 Men and a Baby & Good Morning Vietnam. Watched the fireworks.

*Young, the so-called Cherry Capital of Australia, is a town in New South Wales.
