LAST DAY AT THE WOODMAN

We have spent most of our free time this week getting our shit together. On Friday we picked up our foreign currency: 2,000 French francs and $400 US. Our final pay packet included over £140 each in holiday pay as well as our regular wages. So, we are set to go!

Signed till reciept and cigarette papers from our last night at The Woodman.

Last night after we cleaned up –  it was the busiest Saturday all year! –  We went up to White Stubbs to Joyce’s party.  I was nearly all over when we got there but we had a boogie anyway.

Tonight we will try to get our packing done and no doubt we will have a few drinks after we close.  Tomorrow, we will leave here. Jason is taking us down to the station after we drop off our surplus gear at White Stubbs Farm.  We have our final round of vaccinations, pick up our air tickets from Kumuka and one or two final jobs. From there we go out to Slough to stay with Bernie and Sue until Thursday. At 8 p.m. on Thursday we will take off from Heathrow on KLM flight KL128 to Amsterdam, connecting with KLM flight KL5912 Nairobi, the first leg on our journey through…
AFRICA .
