HOT We got up at 5 as usual and cooked up our toast and Milo. Went up to the shed in
the car and took Luc and Theirry¹ down the road with us to the picking urea. We only picked 3 lugs as the cherries were shit and we were finished by 10 o’clock.
We went into town yet again and had lunch and then and went to the Tavern and composed our Xmas letter. Got it typed out and had 20 copies made then went home and spent an hour or so filling in cards and letters. We invited Stefan to tea as it is his last night here and after tea we lit the fire and sat around talking. We arranged to meet Stefan in Melbourne on January 10th.
