Russ, Gareth, Tasha, Linda and I went to the beach. Russ picked us up at 11 and we drove along the crowded freeway to Geelong. Geelong is an industrial town – the air is polluted and huge factories and refineries are everywhere. We had pizzas for lunch at Queenscliff then went to the beach at Ocean Grove. About 10,000 other people were there with us. Linda, Gareth and I spent a fun-filled hour riding the waves on Gareth’s blow up bed. On the way home, after a beer at the pub, we drove up onto the You Yang Hills. We sat on a huge rock and watched the sun set through the industrial haze
